You only need 15 items - that can include bows, shoes, belts - to become a consignor. We also now accept maternity clothing, so clear your closets! Make some money off of clothes your kids no longer wear and you also get to shop early! Simply follow five simple steps.

Step One: Gather

Go through your kids' closets and pick out those boutique-quality clothes that are in excellent condition. The Monkey Exchange accepts a minimum of 15 items; spring/summer clothes for the spring show and fall/winter for the fall show; girls and boys sizes NB to 16; no three-letter monograms; clothes free of rips, stains, missing buttons, etc.; accessories like bows, tights, bloomers, hats, etc.

Step Two: Tag

Step Three: Hang

Don't wait until the last minute! The sale locks at 10  p.m. the night before it begins. Print tags on cardstock. Regular paper WILL RIP as shoppers go though the racks and we don't want your tags falling off! Price: This is completely up to you, but we recommend 25-30% of retail if used and 50% if new with tags. Use standard sizes, like 3m, 12m, 2t, etc. Describe what you are selling simply, such as boy seersucker shorts. Attach your tag with a safety pin to the front right area of the piece of clothing. For accessories and shoes, please put in a Ziploc bag and place the tag inside the bag.

Step Three: Hang

Step Five: Pick Up and Get Paid

Step Three: Hang

Please hang your clothing with the open end of the hanger to the left. It should look like a question mark, not an S. We recommend using children's plastic hangers. Appearance sells and wire hangers end up looking messy. For pants or shorts, please use a pants hanger with clips or safety pin them to a hanger. Do not fold them over because they don't sell well this way. Don't use clothes pins - they fall off.

Step Four: Drop Off
